Our final project was a culmination of what we had learned in our semester of creators studio. I chose to build a Bluetooth speaker however I was not aware of how much time and effort it would take to build. The design I chose was a speaker inside a PVC T tube. I ordered all my parts and began soldering everything together. However, there was one piece of the project that took a long time to overcome because of how little is solder job it was. By our last class I hadn't finished the project but I had still gained a good understanding of what it was like to actually build something from scratch.
We were given the task to create and program something using a hummingbird circuit board. Me and my partner Caden create bristle bots out of toothbrushes cut in half a light sensor, tri color LED lights, and a vibrating motor. In order for it to work the light snsor needs to be exposed to light and to turn it off we cover the light sensor.
I have began thinking about what I will build for my personal project. My ideas have included possibly making something to do with water or with soccer. Also, because I am in DEEP and i am building an engineering project I could get ahead on my work in that. I have never made something of this sort and I hope to leave this class with much more understanding than I started with.
